05/20/2024 - Sun in the Morning - Episode 010
A track from one of my recent favorite songs from Future Islands, took us on a journey jumping across eras- we connected from modern musical creators like BADBADNOTGOOD, The Black Keys, Blood Orange, Victor Axelrod, Khruangbin, and Jamie XX back to jazz-funk drummer Idris Muhammad, soul queens Aretha Franklin and Etta James, and the godfather of Delta Blues, Robert Johnson. Hope everyone enjoyed this episode!
